We started the evening with some pretty spring blossoms at Loose Park.
These two city kids really wanted Kansas City for their primary engagement location. So we got some really fun city vibe shots by just driving around and picking fun parking garage spots.
Did I mention this was first fridays?
Nick was a saint and handled his cool while we sat in traffic for 30 minutes, while light was fading.
Yoga pants gallery is a legging company with their very own shop here in Kansas City. These leggings have really revolutionized the yoga pants. They just simply do not fall down, no matter what physical activity, you aren’t constantly pulling up your leggings.
So Giovanna, the president of shopYPG, go find them on instagram. Asked me if I would be interested in taking photos of their newest ambassadors, Katie and Liz Sowers, Kansas City’s famous twins. Ummm hell yes, a little back story. Katie is the second woman in history to coach with NFL. She is the assistant offensive coach for the 49ers. She is also the first openly gay coach in the NFL.
Liz is a professional football player. She’s the QB for the Kansas City Titans, you can also find her as a coach at F45 in the crossroads.
We wanted an
art and graffiti feel, so we just ended in the crossroads.
I met Jennifer and Sam on the day of their photography shoot. We talked about everything from under the sun. I learned they had a bad experience with their wedding photographer (because it was a friend). Sadly I hear that a lot.
We talked about our worst relationships we ever had, Sam’s might have taken the prize.
These two have been together for over 10 years now and expecting their first baby boy. I’m so excited to meet the little guy in about 6 weeks.
We stayed in the River market and just walked around taking photos
Kate and Brent met with me about a month ago and they are getting married this May! We decided to do just a mini photo session to get to know each other. We started at John’s Greenhouse, I’m telling you, if you haven’t been here, call them now to plan a visit.
The owners of John’s greenhouse are the sweetest humans I might have ever met, they even gave us all leopard lilies as a thank you for visiting the greenhouse.
After the greenhouse, we decided we should head to the crossroads because they both worked and adore the city 🙂
My sister is engaged! Say what?
Marie and David met on a dating app and their first date consisted of bowling. Apparently this date was awful, they both were just so nervous and yeah, just bad.
So on their second date, nerves were a little more settled and my sister instantly knew she was going to marry him.
So about 7 months later, David proposes in Mexico and they are getting married!!
We started in the crossroads and then ended in a park with hills and a gorgeous sunset
